1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Rhythm Minder™, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Rhythm Minder is a comprehensive reminder application that helps users manage health routines, appointments, tasks, and life events. The app supports 54 specialized reminder types with complex scheduling patterns.

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Rhythm Minder is a reminder tool, not a medical device. Do not rely on this app for critical medical decisions. Always consult healthcare professionals for medical advice. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from missed or incorrect reminders.

4. User Accounts

• You may use the app as a guest (local only) or create an account for cloud features
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

5. Subscription Terms

Free Tier: Available at no cost with advertisements and limited features (9 reminder types, 50 reminder limit).

Paid Tiers (Plus, Pro, Family):

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• All paid tiers include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies

Downgrade Policy:

• When downgrading to a lower tier, reminders using features not available in the new tier will be archived (not deleted)
• Archived reminders can be restored by upgrading back to the appropriate tier

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the app to store illegal or harmful content

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of Rhythm Minder™ are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the application.

8. Family Sharing

• Family plan owners are responsible for their family group members
• Family plan benefits are shared according to the owner's subscription tier
• The owner can remove members at any time; non-owners can leave the group

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any missed reminders, incorrect notifications, or data loss
• We are not liable for any health outcomes related to the use or non-use of this app
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
